Serpents 04:35
Do you really want to know Where we’ve been before It’s a haunting history of Confusion and gore Kept awake by memories Rather forget from way back Staring at my ceiling Watching the nightmares stare back Dead or alive soon I won’t make myself a fool Serpents waiting in the sand Choked and battered Never felt better I'm done with your petty little shit Woah You don't try Not a care to life You’d rather let it all rot Cant see beyond the horizon Time will go on You’ll be left to the maw Hyperdaze into space While your consciousness melts from the inside Dead or alive soon I won’t make myself a fool Serpents waiting in the sand Choked and battered Never felt better I'm done with your petty little shit I'm done with your petty little shit Life is so mysterious sometimes Some things we’ll never know why And that’s ok Don’t try to be a hero You’ll find yourself at zero Just remember the little things Dead or alive soon I won’t make myself a fool Serpents waiting in the sand Choked and battered Never felt better I'm done with your petty little shit Yeah

Flash Flood 03:35
I’ve had enough of the “powers that be” Stomping below with fervor and glee Won’t stop punching below their weight class All the while their heads up their ass Seemingly aware to the struggles of the scorned And yet only for the dollar you mourn Rape and pillage from great mother Earth Did all the profit finally make it worth? Empires rise and fall But you’re the hardest fall of all The world breaking down all around you And you’re so happy to bid it adieu Swim as you might you can’t escape the coming flash flood Bleeding in the water yeah the sharks can smell the blood Thrashing won’t get you anywhere You can only tread for so long I don’t need you to understand I want better than the hand I've been dealt Pour the gold down their throats To quench their thirst for wealth Dance in the ruins of the empire Revelations, the situation is dire You no longer hold the reigns Dropping, falling, lie in wake Pray for salvation Blood moon rising, black rose blooms Withered, abandoned, only consume Where is your god now? Swim as you might you can’t escape the coming flash flood Bleeding in the water yeah the sharks can smell the blood Thrashing won’t get you anywhere You can only tread for so long Eagle, soaring in the clouds with pride Tumor, cancerous growth consuming Everything and everyone Only to make more David, righteous death stand unbroken Goliath, slaughtering innocents You are both, two-faced, liar condemned Hypocrisy will kill us all Sun and moon, heads and tails, yin and yang Rivers have dried and forests leveled Yet you still deny Gaia will die Doom is upon us Welcome to your new reality The world lies in ashes The book of humanity has ended Funeral pyre for the masses

How does it feel? To be the great flood? Cleaving through earth and bone like it’s nothing. There was no plagues of warning, There was no ark of savior, Only destruction. This is what your greed got you. This is what your taking got you. Are you happy now? Was it all worth it, to watch those numbers just go up and up and up? All that suffering? All that pain? I hope it was. Look where it got you.

Redston Road 03:56
This place don’t feel like home Echoes of the past leaving haunting notes Reminders Of a time when things were different Listen you can hear them singing Screaming Redston Road is calling me home 3220 won’t throw me a bone Just let me go back Sunday market on a quiet afternoon Palace on the hill fortress of solitude Green hills rolling My father smiling the dog running free Last time I saw him happy for a year or two or three We left it behind Redston Road is calling me home 3220 won’t throw me a bone Mirror with a crack Home is such a strange thing Where we spend most of our time Yet we still we miss it Feeling homesick such a crime Called many places home 478 to 1401 Have a hard time centering When I’ve always been on the run All roads lead somewhere Take me away Pick one and go Try to escape the fray Moving unto greener pastures Learning to let go Time heals all wounds Give me time to grow Redston Road is calling me home 3220 won’t throw me a bone Just let me go back

You try to look away Hide your face from steely gaze So much anger and hate it feels like you just want an excuse to be irate It always seemed so wrong Why did it take this damn long Confused with annoyance and anger And I can’t help but see a pattern So much smoke and mirrors Can’t see what’s right in front of me Let the fog roll away I can finally see All this smoke and mirrors My head feels like a hurricane Let the clouds roll away I can finally feel sane These things can become so hard Life sometimes can beat you past your guard Time could slow to a lull in Situations out of my control You can’t seem to listen to others Stuck in your very own echo chamber It’s like walking on eggshells with no shoes And worst of all I think I got this from you Can’t see through blinding light Get lost in the corners of my mind You don’t scare me any more All these years trapped inside my head Learning what it takes to not feel so dead I’ve finally settled the score Late nights no sleep dwell on my dreams Consciousness lingering on the seam I really fucking abhor All this needless tension You just need to pay attention So much smoke and mirrors Can’t see what’s right in front of me Let the fog roll away I can finally see All this smoke and mirrors My head feels like a hurricane Let the clouds roll away I can finally feel sane Smoke and mirrors Misty light in my stride Hurricane in my head Gives way to clear skies
